Kanypens Oura In Depth Product Review

First we're going to go through what's in the box. Starting with the carrying case, it comes with cleaning swabs, a USB-C charging cable, carb cap with tether, wall charger, ceramic bucket and quartz bucket. As with any device we highly recommend that you fully charge it before your first use. Next make sure you fill the bubbler up about ⅔ of the way with water. 

Powering On 

The Oura’s power button is a touch sensor. Tap the button 5 times to turn it on. The unit will vibrate to let you know that it is turned on. Switch between temperatures by tapping the button 3 times rapidly. Double tap the button to activate sesh mode. The LED light will flash and then it will hit temperature and stay there for 60 seconds. You can also check your battery by pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds. 

Oura Temperatures

The Kandypens Oura has 4 temperature settings as indicated by the ring of light around the base of the device. From lowest to highest is yellow is 620 Fahrenheit or 327 Celsius, green is 860 Fahrenheit or 460 Celsius, red is 980 Fahrenheit or 527 degrees Celsius and blue is 1090 Fahrenheit or 588 degrees Celsius. Depending on how you normally like your dabs it covers the acceptable range of temperatures. On the lower settings it is pretty good but as you get into the higher settings it's a little bit harsh even with the water filtration. Water filtration hits aren't throat melting but it's lacking a bit of flavor. The Oura can pump out clouds. It will knock your socks off at higher temperatures. It hits very hard and that's one of the things we like about it. The quartz and ceramic atomizers pump out a serious amount of vapor.

The Kandypens Oura has a pretty standard build. The wear and tear aspect comes into play and the touch sensor should last longer. In case anyone has had any problems with the water bubbler on this or any of the other E-rigs, make sure that you line up the little inlet so that it connects to the vapor path into the bucket. Otherwise you're not going to be able to draw at all. Make sure you don't get any water into the intake hole because it floods your atomizer. Be very careful when filling up the device. Heating times vary a little bit between temperature settings. It reaches the bottom 2 temperatures in about 5 seconds and the top 2 in like 10 to 15 seconds.

Cleaning

The Kandypens Oura is super easy to use as we discussed before. 5 taps to turn it on, 3 to change temperatures, 2 to activate that sesh mode, 2 to cancel that sesh mode and then another 5 taps will turn it off. Press and hold for 5 seconds to show you battery life. It is super straightforward to change out atomizers as it is with pretty much any other device. It does get very hot obviously for anyone who's been dabbing for a very long time, it’s not a big deal. If you're new, wait a little bit of time before you unscrew it just so you don't burn yourself, be careful. Cleaning is simple as the buckets are the only thing you have to worry about. Just run it at the highest temperature for 60 seconds. Just use a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol.
